Hang Wire

Just a poem for your pleasure:

Yellow Jet Fighters

Aerodynamic,
swept-wing design,
slice through the
lower atmosphere
with swooshing speed

Signaled by the equinox
they start their mass-
-fleet mobilizing

Immediate alarms
sounded by wind
scramble ever more squadrons
until the tree is bare

This is deep for me! I've read it several times...I'll try again tomorrow. Is it truly about jet fighters or is it a metaphor? Poetry can have so many levels.
Love you!

Oh...I just read it again...it's about yellow leaves falling in autumn....duh!
Way to go, Christian! Nicely done. I've written very few poems. But I enjoy poetry and enjoy trying to undertand poems.
